BizAway keeps collecting prestigious recognitions, entering the FT1000 ranking for the second year in a row at 300th place with a growth rate of  523.93%. This is what emerged from the sixth annual ranking drawn up by the Financial Times and Statista. The survey aims to identify the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe from a variety of sectors.

Once again BizAway ranked 1st in the travel industry this year with a substantial revenue growth which is well over 6 times during the reference period (2017 to 2020) in spite of the pandemic that has brought the sector to its knees. 

But this is not the only achievement for BizAway: in November, it was ranked 65th in the “Leaders of Growth 2022” ranking compiled by Sole24Ore and Statista and for the second year in a row in 1st position in the tourism sector, with an 84% growth.

BizAway has also recently obtained the certification of B Corp, in recognition of its high standards of social, environmental performance, accountability and transparency. In addition, for the second year in a row, BizAway wins Lux Life Travel’s 2022 Travel & Tourism Award for Best Booking Solution.  

“We couldn’t be happier to bring this achievement home again this year. Since the pandemic broke out, we have been trying to develop and implement the platform to make business travel even more within reach. This award will certainly spur us on to improve even further,” adds Luca Carlucci, co-founder & CEO.

Despite the pandemic and its relevant restrictions, BizAway, which raised a total of 4,5 million in two separate funding rounds – and is currently waiting for a third one to come – managed to make it through 2021 acquiring 200 new business clients (a total of 600+) and 43 new hires, now counting 94 employees and the opening of a new office in Shkodër, Albania.
